The first step to good health is recognising when there is a problem, then you can do something about it! We know that when your mind and body isn't in top shape, your entire outlook on life can be affected. Seeing your GP is often the first step to treat your symptoms. Your GP can also write a referral, with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, so you can get a Medicare rebate for counselling sessions. All counselling is tailored to meet your individual needs, specific difficulties and life stressors. We can work together to develop a plan for good health.

All clinical services and programs are delivered by qualified clinicians with degree level study in social work/psychology, and a minimum of 5 years experience .

Janelle White is a Clinical Social Worker and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 10 years experience in mental health and sexual assault/domestic violence counselling. Janelle provides services under Workers Compensation, Medicare, EAPS,  and Victims of Crime. She provides clinical supervision and provides onsite training for staff in mental health, sexual assault/domestic violence and groupwork . 

Griffith Counselling Centre has been trading since 2012 and, as a growing business enterprise, has operated under Red Symmetry Pty Ltd since 2016.  Company Director, Janelle White, oversees business operations and the organisation has grown to integrate a number of business lines.

 The organisation  is flexible and family friendly, and welcomes diversity in the workplace.
